Dreaming with Cercle festival

While the rumor that Coachella is renegotiating contracts consequence of a probable forthcoming cancellation, and we see how the smaller festivals that made us have some hopes for this Summer are also gradually being canceled, the small French Cercle, a medium size festival that every year pushes the boundaries of sound, visuals and location, seems to be moving forwards towards a successful new edition.

Originally set to take place on May 30th and 31st and re scheduled for October 10th and 11th, Cercle, which saw its tickets sell out in just 34 minutes when it went on sale last March, sounds like an interesting proposal for an Autumn that's still difficult to imagine what it's going to be like. For those who have never heard of this particular festival, in words of the organizers, Cercle produces unique experiences by organizing, filming and broadcasting concerts in carefully selected locations around the world. Their prime goal is to showcase cultural heritage sites and landmarks through the prism of electronic music and video.

According to that, next edition of Cercle festival will take place in the National Air and Space museum of France (next to Paris). Founded in 1919, the museum is one of the leading aeronautical and space museums in the world with an exceptional historical ensemble in the three fields of flight (aerostation, aviation and space).

But beyond the festival, the guys behind Cercle are also delivering live-streaming electronic sets and live shows in unique and very unusual places such as in Gwalior (India), the Iguazú Falls or their last video released just some days ago, an impressive set with Belgian duo The Blaze filmed on the top of a mountain higher than 3000m next to the Mont Blanc.
